Taqueria De Diez is opening a new location on Old 6th Street in Austin, replacing their current downtown location. The restaurant offers tacos with various proteins, quesadillas, burritos, and sides.

Black Box Cafe

New restaurant concept planning to construct a 320-square-foot shipping container at Pittsburgh Yards. Associated with Logan Wilkes Foundation. Menu and concept details not yet available, with more information planned to be shared in spring.

Adam J’s Sandwich Shop

Grilled cheese sandwich shop opening in a 320-square-foot shipping container in the Container Courtyard at Pittsburgh Yards. Will be the first brick-and-mortar location for Jackson, who currently operates as a food truck and catering company.

The Oink Joint

Barbecue restaurant planning to open at MacDuff Crossing shopping center. Will feature cedar and metal design elements with modern twist on classic barbecue. Menu includes barbecue sandwiches, plates, tacos, nachos and bowls. Will join existing locations in Newnan, LaGrange and Zebulon.

Jimmy John’s

Multi-unit franchisee William Amos will open a new Jimmy John’s location in Warner Robins. The location will be part of a multi-unit building that is yet to be constructed.

Tulsi Indian Cuisine

New Indian restaurant replacing former Golden Corral location, serving Northern and Southern Indian dishes with banquet capacity for 200 people. Complete interior and exterior redesign planned.

Saint Errant Brewing

Saint Errant Brewing is building a taproom at the former Temperance Beer Co. space. The taproom is currently under construction and will feature signature hazy IPAs, crushable lagers, house-made non-alcoholic draft cocktails and local snacks.

Tempesta Market

Tempesta Market, a West Loop-based Italian deli and grocery market, is expanding to the suburbs with a new location in Rosemont near O’Hare Airport. Known for sandwiches stacked with Italian meats, cheeses and veggies, plus artisan products.

Lizzano Focacceria

Third location of Italian focacceria serving paninis, salads, Italian rolls and alcoholic beverages. Located at former Happy Lemon storefront in downtown Evanston.

Sonrisa

Latin American restaurant serving house-made tortillas, fajita-style meat, seafood and vegan options with full bar featuring tequila, mezcal and rum cocktails. Taking over former Mucha Mucha space with upstairs and downstairs dining rooms.
