Up & Under 2nd Pitch
The younger, second location of rugby-themed pub the Up & Under has pushed out from under a zoning dispute in El Sobrante and reopened after a two-year closure. The family-friendly sports pub serves barbecue and grill fare for lunch and dinner (burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips), as well as a popular weekend breakfast.
Lee’s Donuts
Opening Summer 2024 Lee’s Donuts is opening its first-ever location in Richmond, at 4180 Bayview Street Unit 110. The new restaurant will have a full kitchen and offer all of Lee’s classic yeast and cake donuts. The opening is set for Summer 2024 and the restaurant is just steps away from Stevestons Fishermans Wharf.
Butterfish Sushi
Bay Area Restaurateur Andrew McGee is planning to debut a new restaurant called Butterfish Sushi in Berkeley. The restaurant will be located at 915 University Ave, Berkeley, CA 94710, taking over the former Boochman Kombucha space. An opening date has not been announced yet.
