Dumont Creamery & Cafe

India-based dessert and coffee franchise opening second California location. Menu features Indian-inspired ice cream flavors, traditional Indian sweets with American ice cream, bubble teas, specialty coffees, and fresh pastries. Founded by brothers in 1999, has 13 US locations.

New American restaurant concept from the partners behind Range Kitchen & Tap in Roseville. Will specialize in creative, fresh American cuisine with elevated yet approachable menu. Chef Kevin Kokoszka will helm the kitchen. Located in former Sibling by Pushkin’s space with expansive outdoor patio.

MOD Pizza

MOD Pizza planning to occupy 2,575-square-foot space at Alder Creek Marketplace shopping center. Fast-casual pizza chain known for individually sized, made-to-order pizzas. Shopping center currently under construction.

Fine dining restaurant from the team behind Tasting House, featuring a tasting menu by chef Julian Silvera with California cuisine through a New York lens. Located adjacent to Tasting House with entry through the existing restaurant.

Bar Tako

Mexican-Japanese fusion restaurant opening as a temporary installation, operating through June 2026. Features raw bar, robata grill, and specialty dishes with communal eating concept. Open daily noon to 10 p.m.

Cru Chocolate

Placer County-founded chocolate cafe opening its first physical space inside Humphrey Slocombe ice cream parlor. Will operate as a pop-up from 7 a.m. to noon seven days a week, offering chocolate drinks with customizable cacao percentages and drinking chocolate shots.

Unnamed rooftop restaurant

Two-level, 10,000-square-foot penthouse rooftop restaurant, bar, and event space from Holbrook House owner Phil Spiegel. Will have capacity for approximately 500 people with Bay Bridge views. Construction actively underway.
