2 Greeks Grill

New Greek restaurant concept co-founded by Jerry Kouroumousis and Nick Zaimis, taking over former Genghis Grill location. Will serve authentic Greek gyros, souvlaki, kebabs, desserts, wines and beers. All menu items made in-house. Construction expected to begin in February.

Modern two-story waterfront restaurant at Huizenga Park, built by the same group that owns the Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne. Part of $15 million park redesign project.

Five Guys

Five Guys burger restaurant opening in Jackson Crossing Mall parking lot. Workers were installing signage in December 2025 and interior work shows traditional red and white checkered counters.

Dave’s Hot Chicken

Fast-casual Nashville-style hot chicken restaurant proposed for Prairie Village Shopping Center. City Council to consider proposal on Jan. 6, 2026. Would occupy 2,016 square feet with 552-square-foot outdoor dining addition.

Pizzeria 211

Pizzeria 211 will be taking over the Sugar Bowl location after it closes on March 8. Currently located at Lancaster Southern Market, moving to new location.

Eloura

New restaurant by the owners of Indian/Italian fusion restaurant Zafferano Ristorante, opening at prime Capitol Square location that previously housed SASS, Merci and Field Table

Juleps Kentucky Tavern

Southern cuisine restaurant opening in former Blackfinn Ameripub space at Loudoun Station. 6,400 sq ft space with hours 11am-12am, brunch service starting January 10-11. Menu features Southern dishes like Beer Brined Wings, Stuffed Trout, and Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop.

Spuds-n-Subs

Myrtle Beach-based franchise expanding to Columbus with a new location on High Street. Owner Tim Wright is bringing the restaurant to the area.

Gold Lion Visual Cafe

Gold Lion Community Cafe is opening a second location in Lakeside. This new cafe is built to be more accessible and inclusive with American Sign Language services provided by Mosaic Interpreting Services, dedicated to the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Costello’s Pizzeria

Costello’s Pizzeria is moving from its Village Greene location at Historic Smithville to an expanded new space in the area. The new location address has not been disclosed yet.
