Better Blend smoothie franchise making Florida debut with first location in Brandon area, part of three-location Tampa Bay expansion. Known for healthy, low-sugar, high-protein smoothies, acai bowls, and protein smoothie bowls.

Crispy Cones ice cream chain location planned for Countryside Square shopping center. Plan review documents submitted by Clearwater Cones, LLC. Features rotisserie-made cones with soft serve ice cream and various toppings.

The Lazy Goat

BBQ food truck moving into permanent brick-and-mortar location. Headed by pitmaster Michael Wheeler and owner Candis Haney, serving BBQ twice a week plus Southern cuisine including smothered chicken, meatloaf, breakfast sandwiches, and Cuban sandwiches. Will operate 11 a.m. until sold out.

ShibShib

Middle Eastern cocktail bar featuring inventive cocktails infused with Middle Eastern flavors and sharable small plates. Owner Ahmed Suliman previously operated Cafe Suliman in Melrose Market.

Bong Bong Bar

Champagne-focused bar with Vietnamese bites opening at Harvest development. Owned by Andy Phan and wife Brooke. Will serve champagne flights, Vietnamese-French fusion food, and operate 2pm-11pm.
