Italian restaurant relocating from Minetta Lane to midtown inside the century-old Iroquois Hotel. Will maintain similar menu with octopus carpaccio, pappardelle with duck ragu, and dry-aged steaks. Adding breakfast and lunch service. Also taking control of adjacent Lantern’s Keep cocktail lounge.

Whataburger

Whataburger plans to open in a vacant Wendy’s location. Made to Order Holdings is the local franchisee seeking a Special Land Use Permit from the city of Tucker. Will include indoor seating and drive-thru.

CrawDady

Seafood pop-up restaurant by Chef Jason Dady opening at The Rock at La Cantera, serving crawfish, boudin sausage, gumbo, and other specialties. Will operate weekends throughout spring season.

Milo’s Mediterranean Restaurant

New Mediterranean eatery taking over former Papa Nachos location in Leon Springs, just outside San Antonio. Sign recently went up and waste management vehicles observed on site, indicating preparation for opening.

Smalls Sliders

Louisiana-based burger slider chain’s first Northeast Florida location. 800-square-foot restaurant with dual drive-thru, outdoor dining, no indoor dining. Connected to NFL Hall of Famer Drew Brees as investor.

Raising Cane’s chicken franchise location in Staten Island delayed due to city approvals process. Company signed contract in May 2024 for former strip mall property. Opening projected about a year away after permits are secured.

La Hacienda Restaurant

2,500 square foot restaurant attached to La Hacienda grocery store, featuring drive-thru and speakeasy concept. Restaurant planned to operate 8am-10pm daily, speakeasy Thursday-Sunday 5pm-11pm. Part of new ground-up development.
