French Settlement Roasting Co. is expanding to Denham Springs in collaboration with existing restaurant Yellow Brick House. They will handle coffee while Yellow Brick House does breakfast. This is one of two planned expansions before their first Maurepas location opens in mid-March.

Pho Viet expanding to Baton Rouge in Long Farm Village development, occupying 2,000 square-foot space. Owned by husband-and-wife team Chau Huynh and Tam Nguyen who have built multiple Vietnamese restaurants over a decade. Restaurant focuses on pho and broth-based dishes.

Chick-fil-A relocating to larger site at former CVS location. Demolition underway, construction expected to take 6-8 months. Current location will remain open until new site is ready.
Fuego Tortilla Grill
Texas-based taco chain opening first Louisiana location. Fast-casual restaurant featuring tacos, bowls, desserts and margaritas. Open 24 hours, six days a week (closed Mondays). Grand opening includes free T-shirts for first 100 guests and free queso for a year for first 20 guests.
Insomnia Cookies
Popular cookies shop known for warm, made-to-order cookies and late-night service. Will be located between Hub City Cycles and Teche Drugs Pharmacy in former DBR space. Permits filed for renovations and signage, buildout expected to take 2-4 months once construction begins.
