New fine-dining all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant expected to open in 2026 in Gonzales, LA. Founded by the Wong family, who also operate Boru Ramen, Ichiban Sushi Bar & Grill, and Sweet Society in Baton Rouge.

Sombrero’s

Sombrero’s broke ground in late April 2026 on a new, larger location in Walker, LA near Pickleball Kingdom and Walmart Supercenter. Expected to open by March 2027. New location will feature an outdoor patio and seating for over 200 customers, larger than their current shopping center location.

Hearsay Social Club

Phin de Louisiane

Vietnamese-influenced café specializing in traditional phin coffee using slow-brew technique. Will offer Vietnamese iced coffee, Saigon Ube Latte, matcha drinks, and Thai-style iced tea. Grew out of a pop-up called Katie’s Brewhouse. Located in a plaza in Youngsville, Lafayette Parish, LA. Currently under construction and slated to open fall 2026.

Swig

Utah-based dirty soda chain Swig is opening its first Baton Rouge location at Long Farm Village, off Airline Highway. The 2,400 sq ft space is part of a newly constructed 10,200 sq ft multi-tenant building. Developer Russell Mosely expects it to open by September 2026. This will be the third Louisiana location for the chain.

Crepe Haven
