Maison Courteaux On the Bayou

French-Cajun restaurant concept featuring fresh local seafood and Southern-inspired flavors, located in the dockside Bayou Wharf complex. Will have unique bayou-side views with open-air downstairs bar/deck area and enclosed upstairs dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The Cajun Table

Drive-thru location for popular crawfish and seafood boils. Will feature crawfish boils during season, shrimp boils, and considering blue claw crab boils after crawfish season.

Lefort’s Seafood Restaurant

Lefort’s Seafood Restaurant is expanding to take over the former Sal’s Seafood location. The space is currently undergoing light renovations and hiring servers. Will serve live and boiled seafood, po-boys, gumbo, and daily lunch specials with focus on local seafood.

Gendusa’s Italian Eatery

Italian restaurant moving to a larger location in the former Messina’s space. Current location closing mid-January, but opening date for new location not yet announced. Known for pizza, pound-sized meatballs, Italian sausage, and cannoli.

Barrio Burrito Bar

Tex-Mex chain’s first Louisiana location opening in Perkins Rowe, with a second location planned for summer on Airline Highway. Master franchisee Marc Johnson is expanding the Toronto-based concept.

Grounded Coffee

Coffee shop expanding to second location with drive-thru service emphasis. Offers classic and modern coffee drinks, croissant breakfast sandwiches, and muffins.

Cafe Conmigo

Cuban coffee house and lunch spot in an 800-square-foot shotgun house, featuring Cuban sandwiches, frita burgers, and cocktails. Owned by partners who also own High Hat Cafe.

Texas-inspired ice house beer garden

New ~12,000-square-foot Texas-inspired ice house concept featuring indoor-outdoor gathering space, dog-friendly turf yard, food trucks, and preserved oak trees. Branding and construction timelines to be announced soon.

New Italian restaurant in Mid City Baton Rouge offering handmade pasta, pizza and other Italian favorites. Finishing touches being completed.
