New cocktail and wine lounge owned by Latter Hospitality (owners of Tujague’s) opening inside Hotel Perle in the Warehouse District. Features seasonal small plates menu and cocktail program inspired by fictional couple’s travels through Sicily.
Lightnin’ on the Park
Second location from White Lightnin’ owners, serving prohibition era cocktails and French-inspired Southern cuisine. Located in former RAW Restaurant space facing Railroad Park.
Empire Wingz
Baton Rouge-based wing spot expanding to Lafayette in former Subway location. Known for wings with variety of sauces and signature VJ Fries. Owner has 7 locations in Baton Rouge and working toward nationwide expansion.
Peyton Place Lounge and Restaurant
New lounge and restaurant with liquor license application filed. Owned by Baton Rouge local Keaira Pate, business formed in March 2021. Will be located in former J Spot Bar & Lounge location. Described as casual dining with relaxed atmosphere.
Casimiro
Mexican breakfast joint owned by sisters Lydia and Chef Ana Castro, who also own Acamaya. Menu will feature dishes like huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. Located in former Alma restaurant space.
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Second Chipotle location planned for Lafayette, LA. Property purchased by developer Craig Ripley who plans to demolish existing building housing current tenants. No timeline announced for demolition or construction.
Lilly’s Cafe
Second location of Vietnamese restaurant Lilly’s Cafe after 5+ years of construction and permit delays. Will serve Vietnamese dishes with more creative options and street food.
The R&B Lounge
The R&B Lounge is relocating from 3151 College Drive to a new location at 4612 Bennington Ave in a freestanding building that formerly housed Green Rabbit Tavern. The cocktail lounge offers classic and signature tropical cocktails with a 25+ age requirement on weekends.
