Dear Dad’s

Dear Dad’s is expanding with a second location in Greensboro in a 1,850-square-foot space. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner including avocado toast, burgers, pasta, and handcrafted coffee beverages. Owners are Haras Sajjad and Sage Sajjad.

Urbana Cafe

Urbana Cafe is temporarily moving to the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center for about a year-and-a-half while their Atlas Building location undergoes renovation. The cafe will serve coffee, espressos, and small bites like croissants and breakfast sandwiches in the arts center lobby.

Narco Burger

Second location of popular smash burger restaurant. Owner hoping to open by end of February 2026. Space formerly occupied by Dayton Street Eats, located next to Bee-Gee’s Market.

Pine Coast Cafe

Third location of Pine Coast Cafe opening in former Dad’s Coneys and Wraps space in Clintonville. Features gourmet sandwiches, burgers with Halal meat, and specialty items like kimchi cheesesteak. Staff already moving into location.

Morning Star Bakery and Cafe

Upscale bakery and cafe serving breakfast and lunch with healthy ingredients, breakfast sandwiches, grain bowls, salads, fresh bread, croissants, and pastries. Located near Summit Mall.

Tom & Jerry’s

Tom & Jerry’s is opening a new temporary location after their original restaurant was destroyed in a fire. Known as the ‘King of the gyros’ since 1972, they will have a smaller menu and drive-thru at the new location.

Rest + Recreation

New coffee shop concept focusing on community, offering coffee and cocktails all day. Located in Old Town Chicago, taking over former Patina Collection home goods store space.

Hacienda Real

Mexican chain restaurant opening in former Red Robin building. Part of Arechiga family restaurant group with existing locations in Yorkville, Geneva and Vernon Hills. Serves authentic Mexican dishes including fajitas, carne asada, and handmade tacos.

Cellar 109

1920s-style speakeasy/lounge opening in basement space, initially for ticketed events and private rentals, will eventually open to public. Features Prohibition-era cocktails and small bites.

Gallo Santo

Family-owned Mexican restaurant serving tacos, appetizers, margaritas and mezcal cocktails. Will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Currently waiting on permits and interior buildout.
