Women’s social club with cafe, bar, provisions market, conference rooms, podcast studio and private events space. Also offers wellness services like Pilates, yoga, massage and meditation. Interior renovations are ongoing.

Hollywood East Brewseum

Film- and TV-themed restaurant celebrating movies and TV shows filmed in Wilmington. Located in former Rose Ice & Coal building. Will feature elevated movie theater concessions, film/TV-themed decor, and family-friendly atmosphere. Construction expected to begin in coming weeks.

Omni Hotel

New downtown Raleigh Omni Hotel serving as anchor hotel for Convention Center expansion project. Will include Bob’s Steak & Chop House and a coffee shop. Located at the end of Fayetteville Street across from Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.

Hotel Charles

Historic boutique hotel redevelopment project with 40 hotel rooms, 5,000 sq ft food and beverage space on first floor, and 3,000 sq ft retail space. Total development cost estimated at $14.35 million for the 32,000 sq ft building.

Donatos Pizza

Ohio-based Donatos Pizza signed multi-unit franchise agreement for Charlotte area. Franchisee Mitch Bratton plans to bring location to Huntersville area by end of year, with additional locations planned throughout Charlotte market from Mooresville to Waxhaw and SouthPark.

Amelie’s L’Express

New smaller prototype location for Amelie’s French Bakery, under 300 sq ft with no seating, focusing on pastries, coffee, and grab-and-go options. Will be the sixth Amelie’s location in Charlotte.

Triad-based barbecue spot expanding to second location at American Tobacco Campus in Durham. 5,600-square-foot space offering smoked meats, barbecue sandwiches, Tex-Mex and tacos with full beverage program.

Dear Dad’s

Dear Dad’s is expanding with a second location in Greensboro in a 1,850-square-foot space. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner including avocado toast, burgers, pasta, and handcrafted coffee beverages. Owners are Haras Sajjad and Sage Sajjad.
