New Bar from Double Dragon Team

New yet-to-be-named bar opening in former Richmond Bar space on Division Street. Owner Daniel Casto from Double Dragon is creating a more refined cocktail concept with interpretations of classic drinks. Taking over lease in November 2025.

Prince Coffee

Third location of Prince Coffee opening in Overlook neighborhood. Specialty coffee shop featuring local and global roasters, small menu of snacks and light lunch items. New location will have large patio space for events including food concepts, wine tastings, knitting nights, music events, and vintage markets.

Sip & Slice

Western speakeasy focusing on custom cocktails and savory pies. Owned by husband-and-wife team behind Church of Smoke. Features rustic Western decor with live-edge bar.

Cliff’s

Cliff’s is reopening at a new location on Alberta Street after their previous Eliot location closed at the end of 2025 due to lease non-renewal. The bar previously operated since 2019 and is owned by Josh and Sierra Luebke. New location was formerly Assembly Brewing’s Pizza Annex.

Speakeasy Saloon

Intimate neighborhood bar from Dreamweaver Group focusing on craft cocktails without TVs, featuring local artisan foods and classic prohibition cocktails with Portland twist. Located in former Parkside Bar & Bistro space along Kenton Park.

The Malarkey

Celebrity chef Brian Malarkey’s 24th restaurant, featuring local ingredients from the area. 10,000 square foot space with 250 seat capacity, decorated with Portland-themed items including motorcycle referencing ‘My Own Private Idaho’.

Floso Dirty Soda

Dirty soda shop opening permanent brick-and-mortar location next to Big Red Car Wash. Currently operating from temporary location while construction is ongoing at new permanent site.

Chicatanas

New coffee shop serving drinks, organic food, breakfast items, sourdough bread, tuna salads, dinner options and desserts. Owner’s first coffee shop, everything will be homemade. Located at same spot as Mamancy Teas & Chocolate in downtown area.

Damascus Kitchen

Syrian restaurant expanding from Salem to Dallas, OR with a new food truck location serving shawarma, lamb wraps, and taboula salad. Same menu as original Salem location.

Flour Market Cafe

Flour Market Cafe owner Lisa Belt is seeking a new location after closing their Concordia neighborhood cafe in December. They are planning ‘Cafe 2.0’ while currently operating from their production bakery facility.
