7 Brew Coffee proposed for former Goober’s restaurant site. City’s board of architectural review will evaluate proposal on March 3 to demolish current building and construct new 7 Brew Coffee location.

Sam Walker’s American Tavern

Sam Walker’s American Tavern is coming to Bedford this summer, taking over the former Bamboo location. The restaurant is owned by Maverick Hospitality and will serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch with American tavern fare. Construction needs to be completed first, with opening expected 5-6 months after construction starts.

Ocean Buffet

Massive buffet featuring sushi, hibachi and international cuisine filling former Chuck E. Cheese space. Over 12,000 square feet with sushi bar, hibachi, Asian food, pizza, pho, steak and American foods. Owner has 10 restaurants mostly in North Dakota.

Upstairs seafood and steakhouse at Fishermen’s Village, part of Tidewater Hospitality Group. Will hire 125 employees beginning in early March. Features premium seafood, steaks, craft cocktails, and panoramic harbor views with 100 outdoor seats and 220+ indoor seats.

X Golf

Golf simulator with bar food at former mattress store location in Springfield Shopping Center. Will feature 9 golf simulators with small kitchen offering typical bar food items heated in Merrychef oven. Family-friendly environment with small bar seating 8-10 people.

Peach Valley Cafe

Central Florida breakfast, brunch, and lunch chain will occupy the recently closed Bob Evans location. Property purchased by Holm Real Estate LLC for $2.9 million.

Tapas El Turco

Turkish-inspired tapas restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine, live entertainment including Flamenco and belly dancers, and authentic shared dining experience. Will seat about 128 guests with full bar and communal areas.

Captain D’s

Captain D’s fast-casual seafood chain is expanding with new locations in Corsicana, Texas and Muskogee, Oklahoma coming soon, followed by San Antonio in summer 2026. Also planning expansion into Alabama and Georgia.
