Japanese Neapolitan pizza pop-up by Susumu Kakinuma at Sake No Hana, running for five nights from February 24-28, 2026. Features three Seirinkan pizzas including Bianco with fresh wasabi, using imported flour from Tokyo.

Eddie Huang is reopening his cult-favorite Taiwanese restaurant Baohaus in the East Village, featuring bao, beef noodle soup, and expanded dinner menu with unlimited sweet potato porridge. Will offer lunch and dinner with late-night dining.

Beer Trade Co.
Beer Trade Co. is opening a new outpost in Laytonsville, taking over the space previously occupied by The Office Cafe & Lounge at Red Barn Retail Shops. The concept features craft beer with a unique self-serve approach and bar food including wings, burgers, and chicken sandwiches.

French bakery chain expanding to third Arlington location in Ballston Exchange shopping center. Taking over former Greenheart Juice Shop space in a renovated 2,000 square foot storefront. Menu offers pastries, omelets, and coffee drinks.
Whataburger
Multiple Whataburger locations expanding throughout Tampa Bay region. Brandon location set to open in spring 2026, Lutz location in summer 2026. Additional locations planned in Bradenton at SeaFlower Village Center and Marketplace at Heritage Harbor. Total of 8 locations expected by end of 2027.

New Culver’s restaurant being built in Meijer parking lot. Construction managed by Rhoads & Johnson, expected to complete between spring and summer 2026.

836-square-foot Aroma Joe’s coffee shop planned for Washington St. at Winter Street intersection. Planning Board reviewing site plan application. Property purchased by Brennan Development Company for $435,000.
