Cajun Street is opening a new location in Katy, remodeling an existing Wienerschitzel space. Construction starts late April and wraps up by end of July 2026. The restaurant serves traditional Cajun dishes including gumbo, étouffée, fried catfish, and barbecue.
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise location opening at Four Corners in Tomball. Construction slated to start mid-March and wrap up by mid-June 2026. GSR Group is the franchisee operator behind this opening.
LongHorn Steakhouse
First LongHorn Steakhouse location in Texas City, near Tanger Outlets. Construction slated to start in August 2026 and wrap up by end of February 2027. Confirmed by Darden construction manager.
Detroit Kava Bar
Kava bar concept serving teas mixed with kava plants, designed as a space to study and decompress. Owner also operates kava locations in Jacksonville, Florida. Currently hiring kavatenders and barbacks.
Boomerang Coffee Lounge
Third location of Midland-based coffee chain replacing Mug Shots Coffee location, will have drive-thru. Owners are currently hiring baristas.
Mangos Tequila Bar
Third location of Mangos Tequila Bar opening in former UNO Pizzeria location. Mexican restaurant serving street tacos, birria tacos, fajitas, and seafood. Owners waiting on kitchen equipment delivery and need to hire staff.

Second location of Dutch Girl Donuts expanding from original Woodward Avenue shop. Serves specialty donuts, coffee, with various toppings and portion options. Will share space with Howrani Studios photography business.
Linger Coffee Co.
New coffee shop owned by husband-and-wife duo Armené and Tim Piper, replacing The Barking Dog cafe. Features Art Deco aesthetic with remodeled interior and reconfigured coffee bar layout. Owners emphasize community gathering space.
The Lowdown
Family-oriented bar and grill opening in Boulder. Co-owned by Erin Perkins and Jean Della Contrada. Will serve diverse menu and craft beers from 14 taps. Named after Boz Scaggs’ 1976 hit ‘Lowdown’.

First Firehouse Subs location in Longmont, located in Harvest Junction shopping plaza. Fast-casual sandwich shop specializing in hot sub sandwiches. Owned by Scott Highland.
