Southern-style restaurant specializing in egg rolls and loaded baked potatoes, planning to open in Whitehaven. Certificate of occupancy filed in early March and still under review.
Delux Chicken
New chicken restaurant concept opening in Cherry Plaza shopping center. Menu will feature wings, sandwiches, seafood, and salads prepared fresh daily. 1,500 square foot space with occupancy for 20 and will serve alcoholic beverages.
Dunkin’
Drive-thru only Dunkin’ location planned for 1,092 square foot storefront. Building permits filed and under review. Will have 11 parking spaces and replace demolished driveways with one entrance and exit.
Over Keel
Wine bar opening in the Snuff District at The Kent event center. Will offer about 20 wines, local beers, and light menu including charcuterie boards. Seats 63 customers. Currently awaiting liquor license.
Waffle House
Third Waffle House location in Jonesboro area, located in Hilltop corridor on East Johnson Avenue near NEA Baptist Health System campus. Will provide 24-hour dining option for medical community.
Hapa Haus
Golf simulator restaurant-bar with Hawaiian-leaning menu, featuring five golf simulators. Will occupy 7,983 square feet with 69 indoor seats and 48 outdoor seats on covered patio at Sherman Oaks Galleria.
Smorgasburg
Open-air food market opening its first Central Park location at Columbus Circle with over 25 vendors. Will run Thursday-Saturday 12pm-8pm through September 19, 2026. First Smorgasburg location with weekday hours suited for office lunch crowds.
Bilt Café
Two restaurant concepts from Chef Daniel Boulud coming to new Bilt headquarters in Meatpacking District – Bilt Café and Bilt Supperclub. Both will be on first floor with approachable price points. Café will offer breakfast and lunch, supperclub will feature French dishes.
Pizza Studio Tamaki
Tokyo-based pizza concept opening first permanent U.S. location in East Village. Chef Tamaki brings Tokyo-style Neapolitan pizza with Japanese and American flavors, using 30-hour fermented dough and Japanese cedar shavings for smoky aroma. 65 seats, reservations via SevenRooms.
Larue Seafood and Gumbo
New seafood and gumbo restaurant taking over former 2 Phat Vegans location. Owner previously operated in Atlanta. Menu includes seafood platters, po-boys, and gumbo.
