Aztec Sports Bar

4,500-square-foot sports bar with beer and wine bar, seafood-centric menu focusing on ceviches and tostadas. Currently in alcohol licensing process.

Onigilly Japanese Kitchen

Onigilly Japanese Kitchen franchise location opening at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance. The 1,300 square foot space will be located near Philz Coffee and will offer onigiri rice balls, bowls, and sides. Franchisees are Rav Randhawa and Dana Romano.

The Melt

Fast-casual chain planning new location at Del Amo Fashion Center near Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ. Chain serves crispy chicken sandwiches, MeltBurgers, melts, mac n cheese, and shakes.

Outpost Cellar

Wine bar with 1,000-bottle list overseen by celebrated sommelier Patrick Cappiello, located inside Jenner Outpost retail shop adjacent to Café Aquatica. Will serve Monte Rio Cellars wines and extensive California/European selection.

Necessity Coffee

Independent coffee shop from Encinitas expanding to San Marcos location in North City mixed-use development. Will offer high-quality locally roasted coffee, fresh pastries, and welcoming environment.

Bedda

All-day Italian dining concept opening in South Park, San Diego. Will offer daytime brunch/lunch service and evening tapas-style bar. Takes over former Matteo bakery location. Owner also operates Carbon Angela’s Kitchen.

The Draft Shack

21-and-older taproom with 20 taps featuring rotating craft beer, seltzer, kombucha, cider, and wine on tap. Owned by Andrea and Jacob Marshall who also operate Infusion Taproom in Lincoln.
