Peet’s Coffee is preparing to open a new cafĂ© in a former bank building within the Placer Center retail complex. The site is at the intersection of Douglas Boulevard and Santa Clara Drive. Opening timeline has not yet been announced.

Tulsa-based dessert concept opening first Sacramento-area locations. Features mini donuts, ice cream, milkshakes, and coffee. 2,000 sq ft location with indoor and outdoor seating. Franchisees Travis and Janelle Hawkins leading local expansion.
Lomi Lomi
South Asian temaki (hand-rolled sushi) spot by Pijja Palace owner Avish Naran. 1,000+ sq ft space with 60 seats, serving hand rolls with South Asian flavors, pakoras, and shochu highballs. Lunch ~$30, dinner ~$50 per person.
Birdie G’s
Beloved Santa Monica restaurant Birdie G’s will reopen as an all-day restaurant at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel in Century City, serving Midwestern and Jewish-inspired cuisine including breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch
Andreane
Kyoto-inspired matcha and wellness cafe concept, extension of 12 Hrs Matcha Cafe. Menu will include premium ceremonial-grade matcha, coffee, specialty lattes, baked goods, and Blue Zone-inspired items. Moving into former Cabo Cantina location.
Ringer’s Roller Rink
Outdoor roller skating venue with snack bar opening at Seaport Village along the Embarcadero. Second location for the company, featuring roller skating, rentals, retail, and classic rink-style food. Pending permit approvals.
In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out is attempting to open a new location in Buellton, California after being rejected in 2023. The Buellton Planning Commission will review the application on April 2, 2026, followed by a city council vote. If approved, construction will likely begin later in 2026.
The Lighthouse
Historic jazz venue expanding from Hermosa Beach to Pacific City in Huntington Beach. 4,200-square-foot space with outdoor seating, ocean views, live music, and American fare with bar food menu. Features Sunday jazz brunch and happy hour.

Mixed-use development including luxury housing, hotel, restaurants and retail spaces. Part of 3-tower complex near Crypto.com Arena. Previously stalled project being acquired by KPC Development Group and Lendlease joint venture for $470 million.
