Dual-branded Marriott hotel with 65 Fairfield Inn & Suites rooms and 80 TownePlace Suites extended-stay rooms, totaling 145 rooms across five floors. Includes drive-thru Starbucks. Redevelopment of former Holiday Inn/Ramada Inn site.
Bruno’s Cafe
Craft coffee shop expanding from Unionville to second location in Southbury. Around 2,000 square feet, seats about 50 people. Will serve Counter Culture Coffee beans and products from local suppliers. Owners plan to replicate the same experience as their original location.

New Chick-fil-A location opening in Bristol, CT, locally owned and operated by Drew Hutton. Will create approximately 100 jobs and offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, and catering services.

Colony Grill chain planning to convert former Coldwater Creek retail space in Somerset Square. Known for thin-crust bar-style pizza with hot oil topping. Plans include new rear entry and outdoor dining. Architectural review approved, now with planning and zoning.
