New Honey Baked Ham Co. franchise location opening in Bird Bay Plaza, known as Venice’s Foodies Heaven. Soft opening planned for March 23 with Grand Opening to follow in April. Franchisee Charlotte Marcum and her husband are opening the location.

Bern’s Steak House Company is opening a new seafood-focused restaurant concept at the current Haven location. The concept has been developed by Executive Chef Chad Johnson and will replace Haven after it closes following summer 2027.

Upstairs seafood and steakhouse at Fishermen’s Village, part of Tidewater Hospitality Group. Will hire 125 employees beginning in early March. Features premium seafood, steaks, craft cocktails, and panoramic harbor views with 100 outdoor seats and 220+ indoor seats.
Tapas El Turco
Turkish-inspired tapas restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine, live entertainment including Flamenco and belly dancers, and authentic shared dining experience. Will seat about 128 guests with full bar and communal areas.
Pura Vida
Miami-based wellness café planning 4,209 sq ft location at Water Street Tampa with outdoor seating. Build-out includes new interior finishes, lighting, millwork and electric rapid-cook ovens.

Bern’s Steak House Company will open a new seafood-focused restaurant at the current Haven location. Executive Chef Chad Johnson developed the concept over several years. The restaurant name and additional details have not yet been announced.

White Wolf is a rustic Italian restaurant celebrating Tampa’s Italian heritage with handmade pastas, regional Italian dishes, and Italian-American classics. Part of a multi-concept development that will also include Carnivore Club (July opening) and Bar Spuntino on the rooftop. Located at a new development off Westshore Boulevard.
Del Patio Pica Pollo
Dominican-style fried chicken food truck concept from the team behind El Patio RD Chimi. Plan review paperwork has been submitted and they are preparing to launch in the Brandon-Riverview area.

Kingfish is a minimalist sushi and sake bar opening at the Rome Collective in North Hyde Park. It’s a quality ingredient-driven full-service sushi bar taking a minimalist approach to Japanese cuisine, complemented by curated cocktails and sake. Part of Tastes Pretty Good Hospitality group.
