The Capital Grille

High-end steakhouse chain opening first Idaho location at The Village at Meridian expansion. Nearly 9,000 square-foot building. Owned by Darden Restaurants. Building construction expected to begin around April 2026.

Bobby’s Cafe

Bobby’s Cafe is a breakfast and lunch restaurant opening in a renovated 6,200-square-foot space that previously housed several restaurants. The building underwent a major overhaul including new electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment. Named after the owners’ new daughter.

Tango’s Empanadas

Third location of popular Argentinian restaurant opening near BSU, specializing in authentic empanadas with over 50 varieties. Owner has dreamed of BSU location for 20 years.

Coa Cantina

New cantina-style restaurant opening in east Boise’s Harris Ranch area, featuring tacos, tequila-forward cocktails and live music. Owned by Torro Restaurant Group. Grand opening includes mariachi music and giveaways.

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

Ice cream chain opening three locations in Treasure Valley – Eagle (late spring/early summer 2026), Nampa (summer 2026), and Meridian (spring 2027). Makes small-batch ice cream in-house daily with 48 rotating flavors. Owned by local restaurant owners Stephen and Patrick Modjeski.

Mo’ Bettahs

Hawaiian-style fast-casual restaurant opening its 75th location and first in Eagle. Will offer Friends & Ohana preview event on Feb 5 before official opening Feb 6. Menu includes teriyaki chicken, kalua pig, katsu chicken served with rice and macaroni salad.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers

3,368-square-foot restaurant, first location for North Idaho. National franchise with over 700 restaurants across 42 states and five international markets.

Averill Hospitality hotel development that submitted building permits in December 2025. Project includes design modifications with softened building edges creating a U or W shape instead of angular E shape. All original setbacks maintained from conditional use permit.
