Yuriria’s Kitchen Restaurant

New takeout Mexican restaurant opening in downtown Kankakee with Chipotle-style ordering, serving tacos, barbacoa, Mexican-style baked potato, and breakfast items. Plans for outdoor seating and future drive-thru.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka

Second Chicagoland location of Japanese ramen restaurant chain opening in West Loop. 43-seat restaurant will serve authentic ramen, Japanese comfort dishes, and offer dine-in, takeout and delivery. Features signature slow-simmered Tonkotsu broth and various ramen styles.

Mazor

Counter-service restaurant featuring Mexican and Guatemalan cuisine with fresh masa-based dishes including tostadas, tacos, and empanadas. Will also offer monthly tasting menu dinners. Chef Cristian Orozco previously owned Five O Four Kitchen in Glen Ellyn.

Third Red Rose Banquets location opening in former Bulldog Ale House, will host events for up to 300 people with multicultural focus and preferred food vendor 31 North

Four-story extended stay hotel with 111 rooms, pool, fitness center and large lobby. Building is nearing completion.

Hollywood Casino Aurora

New $360 million land-based casino resort facility featuring 220 guest rooms, full service spa, high-end bars and restaurants, 12,000-square-foot event center, retail sportsbook, and outdoor entertainment area. Will employ about 800 team members.

11-story hotel reaching 170 feet in height as part of Phase One of Foundry Park development, featuring approximately 180 keys, a banquet hall, and multiple dining spaces. Part of larger mixed-use development in Lincoln Park area.
