New Italian restaurant in Mid City Baton Rouge offering handmade pasta, pizza and other Italian favorites. Finishing touches being completed.

The Cajun Table

Drive-thru location for popular crawfish and seafood boils from existing Lafayette restaurant. Will feature crawfish boils during season, shrimp boils, and potentially blue claw crab boils.

Gendusa’s Italian Eatery

Gendusa’s Italian Eatery is relocating from their current Rivertown location to a larger former Messina’s location. The new venue will more than double seating capacity, triple kitchen size, and add 66 parking spaces. Owner plans to add new chef and menu items while keeping regular offerings including specialty pizza.

Fairmont New Orleans

Luxury hotel with 250 rooms housed in restored historic Bank of New Orleans building. Features world-class dining, spa, fitness center, and event spaces. Part of Fairmont Hotels brand.

Alexis Fried Chicken and Seafood

Former family restaurant lost to Hurricane Katrina in 2005 being rebuilt by original co-owner. Plans under city review, with Board of Zoning Adjustments meeting scheduled for January. Will be sit-down version of former takeout spot.

Las Brujas Coffee & Grocery

Coffee shop and grocery featuring air-roasted specialty coffee beans, local products, and community market. Owner getting keys January 1st, targeting February opening.

The Hive Market

Farm-fresh cafe expanding by moving across the street from Grand Coteau to Sunset. Closed December 20 and will reopen in new year at larger location to offer more to the community.
