The Food Market by Chef Chad Gauss will open in the lower level of the Hampden House development, offering elevated comfort food including Duck Reuben, Hot Honey Crispy Chicken, and Famous Cheesesteak. This will be their third location after Hampden (Baltimore) and Columbia.

Royal Farms convenience store and gas station opening with 24/7 service, featuring World-Famous Chicken, 12 fuel dispensers, and made-to-order food. Soft opening event scheduled for January 14-15, 2026.

Japanese entertainment complex with bowling, arcade games, karaoke, crane machines, and food service taking over 49,000 sq ft former Hollywood East Cafe space in Wheaton Mall. Second Maryland location for the chain.

Ohio-based Kitchen Social is preparing for its Maryland debut in Gaithersburg, taking over the former Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar location. The restaurant offers elevated but affordable cuisine with a diverse menu of 30-40 items made from scratch. Features indoor/outdoor bar in a light, bright, airy setting.
