600-room convention center hotel project worth $450 million, developed by The Sterling Group in partnership with Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority. Located just north of Huntington Place convention center. Will require demolishing full city block including Fort Washington Plaza building.

600-room, $450 million hotel being developed by The Sterling Group as part of Huntington Place convention center expansion. Construction to begin early 2027.

L’Saj Kitchen

New Lebanese kitchen concept from the team behind La’Saj Lebanese Bistro, which operates locations in Sterling Heights and Troy. Will serve Lebanese dishes including kabobs, shawarma, and traditional Saj cooking.

Bottom Creek Brewery and Event Venue

16,000-square-foot brewery and event venue complex offering craft beers, farm-to-table dining, and spaces for outdoor concerts, festivals and events. Complex is mostly complete with beer vats already installed.

Rent Free Coffee and Community

Daytime coffee shop and evening cocktail bar in Eastern Market. Owner has experience in hospitality, television and music. Concept has been in development for about three years.

Manna Modern Kitchen

International restaurant concept featuring fresh, nourishing takes on global dishes. Coming to downtown Port Huron’s north side with rotating menu options and seafood dishes expected.

Odysseus Cafe

Greek cafe with Mediterranean flavors serving organic coffees, pastries and desserts including Freddo Espresso and stuffed figs. From the team behind The Jagged Fork, opening under Flour and Salt Hospitality.

O’s Mid & Main

Restaurant concept change from Tavern On Main to O’s Mid & Main. Owner keeping the bar with slight redesigns and shifting to more dinner options like steaks, seafoods and salads while maintaining burgers and sandwiches.

Chick-fil-A

Third Chick-fil-A location in the region, approximately 5,000-square-foot restaurant opening at 6:30 a.m.
