Family-owned bakery and deli concept focusing on breakfast and lunch, sandwiches and pastries. Named after co-owner Stacy VanElls who is a local baker. Will serve coffee, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, cakes, cookies, cupcakes and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Red Cedar Play Cafe
A cafe and play space concept for families combining safe play areas, enriching programs, and a cozy cafe. Owner is working through lease negotiations and will be hiring soon.
Culver’s
New Culver’s restaurant being built in Meijer parking lot. Construction managed by Rhoads & Johnson, expected to complete between spring and summer 2026.
Pizzawala’s
Indian-pizza fusion restaurant opening fifth location. 26-year-old Kalamazoo native and youngest franchisor in company. Hours will be 11 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Soft opening planned before full opening.
Zatar & Olive
Mediterranean restaurant preparing to open in Davison. Rumored to open toward the end of February 2026, though no official confirmation yet.
PetalPop Cafe
Full-service restaurant serving breakfast and lunch comfort food including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, chicken fingers and burgers. Located in former Belen’s Flowers shop and Salt Rock Brewing Co building. Features floral-themed decor and craft sodas served from old brewery taps. Designed to be family-friendly with affordable prices.
Marky’s Kitchen & Bar
New restaurant serving elevated bar food opening alongside Papa’s Pizza franchise. Interior construction underway, hiring in process. Menu will include appetizers and smaller plates with options from both Marky’s and Papa’s Pizza.
La Pecora Nera
Fourth location of La Pecora Nera cafe and deli coming to downtown Plymouth. Owner has just started renovations and says it’s too early to announce opening date. Will feature more robust coffee program along with sandwiches on sourdough focaccia bread and house-made salads.
