New deli taking over former Vee’s Sweets & Treats Deli location. Will keep same recipes and menu with plans to add salads and other items. Space currently being renovated.
The Spark by Hilton
Hilton taking over the existing Seville Plaza Hotel location on Country Club Plaza, converting it to The Spark by Hilton brand. Will be official hotel of National WWI Museum and Memorial with portion of revenue donated to museum. Located near KC Streetcar stop.
TownePlace Suites Hotel
Four-story, 129-room TownePlace Suites Hotel with $7.5 million investment. Features will include breakfast area, fitness area, indoor pool and outdoor patio. Located on 4.7-acre plot north of Stoney Creek Hotel.
Tiki Taco
Kansas City-based Tiki Taco expanding with at least two new locations in 2026, including Liberty location and Metro North area. Additional 2-3 locations in development. Features fusion of traditional Mexican flavors with Southern California influences.
