Carnegie Diner and Cafe opening fifth Manhattan location in 2,610 sq ft space on ground floor of Federal Reserve Building in Financial District. Will serve beer and wine only (no cocktails due to proximity to church). Part of Carnegie Hospitality group.
Confidant
Fine dining concept reopening in Brooklyn Heights after closing Industry City location. Co-founded by Roberta’s alums Daniel Grossman and Brendan Kelley. Will serve rotating seasonal menu with brunch service launching after opening.
TFS Burger Works
Hudson Valley burger chain expanding to Manhattan’s Midtown East. Located in former Kyan Grill & Juice Bar space, will feature open kitchen, burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken sandwiches, and local beer and wine. Currently in build-out phase.
Gotham Burger Social Club
Second location of Gotham Burger Social Club expanding to Williamsburg. Will serve liquor and cocktails unlike the Essex Street location. Owner announced the location but no opening date set yet.
Goop Kitchen
Fast-casual, takeout/delivery-only restaurant offering entirely gluten-free menu with salads, bowls, pizza, pasta, wraps, soups, rotisserie chickens, and desserts. This will be the NYC debut for Goop Kitchen, which already operates in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Dravida
Indian restaurant from chef Aarthi Sampath featuring 20 seats, Indian cuisine including kebabs, curries, and Indian-influenced cocktails. Proposed hours 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
Motek
Mediterranean restaurant expanding from Florida to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Coming soon signage is up at the location. Menu includes hummus, kebabs, salads, steak, lamb chops, and all-day brunch items.
