Westin Raleigh Hotel

353-room property in downtown Raleigh being converted from Sheraton to Westin brand. Comprehensive renovation will include guest room and public area enhancements, added meeting space, and reimagined food and beverage concepts. Located within walking distance of Raleigh Convention Center.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Sugar Mountain

116-key Homewood Suites by Hilton extended-stay property at the base of Sugar Mountain. Development secured $28m construction loan through EB-5 investment platform. Located near ski resorts, colleges, and state parks to serve leisure and business travelers.

Omni Hotel

550-room Omni Hotel under construction adjacent to the Raleigh Convention Center. The hotel will house 55,000 square feet of meeting space and several food-and-beverage options. Part of the $387-million RCC expansion project.

45-room hotel with spa and cottages

Proposed 45-room hotel with spa and cottages, approximately 4,500 square feet. Development facing community opposition and rezoning challenges. Owned by Bi-Part Development.

Smooth Monkey

Local smoothie and acai shop planning to expand to Uptown Charlotte location. Currently has locations in Plaza Midwood and Strawberry Hill. Serves acai bowls and smoothies with fresh, natural ingredients.

Miró Spanish Grille

Second location of Miró Spanish Grille expanding to SouthPark in a 4,000-square-foot space, formerly home to Fontana di Vino. Will offer 80% of the same menu as existing Ballantyne location including empanadas, paellas, and Spanish seafood dishes.

Summit Farms

62-acre farm-to-table village featuring organic farm, market, deli, wood-fired pizza restaurant, ice cream shop, Summit Coffee headquarters, and Silly Goose Bakeshop. Construction starts April 2026 with spring 2027 opening.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers

Louisiana-based chicken finger chain planning first Triad location in Greensboro. Known for limited menu focused on chicken finger meals, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and signature dipping sauce. Location pending final city approvals and permitting.

Dutch Bros Coffee

Dutch Bros Coffee will open at former O’Charley’s location. Building permit issued March 31, 2026. Will be first location in Alamance County for the coffee chain.
