New Irish pub in NoDa community, sister concept to Brigid’s Irish Pub in South End. Will emphasize cost-friendly no-food menu of spirits and ales with neighborhood community vibe.
All Day Darling
Second location of All Day Darling opening in Oakley neighborhood. Groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for March 19, 2026. Will involve adaptive reuse of existing structure plus new construction.
Taco Roos
Cook Out-owned taco concept with signs and digital menu board installed at former KFC location. Permits issued for renovation. Still advertised as ‘coming soon’ with working digital menu board observed during site visit.
Longleaf Swine
Longleaf Swine barbecue restaurant expanding to Carrboro location, taking over Luna Rotisserie & Taproom space. Features wood-fired barbecue including ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken.
Songbird
A daylight-to-dusk bar structured around seasonality offering coffee and fresh juice early in the day transitioning to cocktails and shareables later. Will offer alcoholic, low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages in an 800-square-foot space at East End Market.

New butcher and restaurant concept opening in 4,000-square-foot building, offering sandwiches, meats and bar options
CRÚ Wine Bar & Bistro
Dallas-based wine bar and bistro concept opening in a 2,389-square-foot space at Linea residential tower in South End. Offers extensive wine collection, charcuterie, Italian-style sandwiches, pinsa pizzas and entrees. Will be second North Carolina location.
Roots Cafe
Second location of Roots Cafe expanding from South End. Two-phase opening: late spring for 1,385 sq ft space with 30 seats offering coffee, cocktails, limited hot menu and pastries; fall phase adds 1,127 sq ft with larger kitchen and expanded menu.
