European-American restaurant replacing former Sunset Grille, offering espresso drinks, cocktails, wraps, burgers, salads, and weekend breakfast buffets. Owner previously co-owned The New Country View Diner.

Zaxby’s

First Zaxby’s location in Pennsylvania, chicken fingerz and wings fast casual restaurant expanding from the south. Franchisee also operates 30+ Dunkin’ locations in Philadelphia area.

American Burrito

New York-based Mexican restaurant expanding to State College. Fast-casual restaurant specializing in stuffed burritos, tacos, quesadillas. Will be located in former Kish Bank building. Plans to hire 20 employees and operate extended hours until 3-4 AM on weekends.

The Brandywine

121-room Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel with $60 million investment. Features Merrick’s Tavern on ground floor and Pomelo Rooftop Terrace. 5-story luxury hotel catering to business travelers and nearby office tenants.

Cookie Plug

Cookie shop specializing in oversized cookies with street culture theme, graffiti art, and hip-hop music. Third location in Philadelphia area, franchise owner’s second location. Currently under construction.

Yum Grills & Market

Elevated fast-food concept that doubles as convenience store, planning major expansion with 5 locations under construction to open through Q1, then 5-7 monthly starting Q2. Menu includes smash burgers, Nashville chicken, cheesesteaks, wings, and specialty drinks.

Vita Sana

Health-focused eatery serving made-from-scratch smoothies, juices, açaí bowls, salads, sandwiches, wraps and rice bowls with Mediterranean-style twist. Also offering all-day breakfast menu and coffee from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Interior designed by John Sofio of Built Inc.

Drunken Chicken

Korean fried chicken restaurant owned by Alex Alfaro and Uyen Nguyen, taking over former West Brew Izakaya space. Will be their fourth restaurant concept and plans to serve brews from West Brew.

Bengaluru Cafe

Vegan South Indian restaurant expanding from Fairfax, Virginia. Will be Philadelphia’s first entirely vegan and vegetarian South Indian restaurant, featuring dosas, chaats, and authentic Karnataka cuisine in Northern Liberties neighborhood.
