Third location of award-winning Nashville-based barbecue restaurant opening in Brentwood. Largest space yet with indoor and outdoor seating for 200 customers. Features expanded bourbon bar, bourbon lockers, and new menu items including brisket smash burger and brisket tacos.
Parkway Towers Hotel
21-story office building from 1968 being converted to hotel with 331 guest rooms by Seattle-based Tourbineau Real Estate Partners. Building has parking garage with no additional parking planned.
Fifth Third Center Hotel
31-story downtown Nashville office tower being eyed for conversion to hotel with up to 500 rooms. Building offers nearly 650,000 square feet of space and was purchased by Pivot Real Estate Partners in August 2025.
Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe
Mediterranean cafe planning new location in 2,581-square-foot storefront at Water Tower District. Will be fifth regional location for the chain in greater Memphis area.

Brain Food Memphis is opening a second location downtown at 121 Union Avenue. This will be their flagship location offering a complete dining experience, expanding from their existing Cordova location. Owner describes it as being in the final stretch before opening.
Big Bad Breakfast
Second Memphis area location for Big Bad Breakfast, a breakfast chain helmed by Chef John Currence. Opening in Cooper-Young in former Mulan Asian Bistro space. Renovations already commenced on 5,000 square foot space.
Ray Mah Cafe
8,500 square foot coffee shop with in-house roasting, serving Yemeni and specialty coffees, desserts, fresh juice, and ice cream. Plans to franchise the concept.
The Paper Mill
Mt. Juliet breakfast-and-brunch restaurant expanding to second location in downtown Gallatin. New space will seat 90 people and feature a milkshake bar. Currently undergoing renovations.
