Southern California-born dessert brand opening first Austin location. Locally owned and operated by franchise partners. Details regarding store location and opening date to be announced later.

La PanaderĂ­a

James Beard-nominated bakery and cafe opening new Northwest Side location in Alamo Ranch area. Will feature full menu of Mexican and European-inspired pastries, tortas, brunch plates, plus cocktail menu and shaded outdoor patio.

Texas French Bread

Texas French Bread’s brick-and-mortar restaurant and bakery is reopening after the building burned down in January 2022. Co-owner targeting early to mid-April 2026 reopening.

Taqueria de Diez

Tijuana-style taco restaurant expanding to Westlake location, serving al pastor and carne asada tacos. Will be located next to Texas Honey Ham Co.

New restaurant bringing San Diego-style Mexican food to Austin, already has signage up and Instagram suggests more locations planned

CrawDady

Seafood pop-up restaurant by Chef Jason Dady opening at The Rock at La Cantera, serving crawfish, boudin sausage, gumbo, and other specialties. Will operate weekends throughout spring season.

Milo’s Mediterranean Restaurant

New Mediterranean eatery taking over former Papa Nachos location in Leon Springs, just outside San Antonio. Sign recently went up and waste management vehicles observed on site, indicating preparation for opening.
