16 Handles

16 Handles frozen yogurt shop planning to open near Stone Oak in Greater San Antonio region. Franchisee will actually open two locations in the area. Self-serve froyo shop with customizable dessert experience.

Eastbound Barbecue

New barbecue restaurant in Houston’s East End helmed by former Killen’s Barbecue and Killen’s Steakhouse staff. Features creative smoked meats with traditional and innovative approaches. Currently holding preview pop-ups on weekends.

Terry Black’s Barbecue

Austin-based barbecue restaurant opening first New Braunfels location. 7,860-square-foot space with attached pit house and two-story outdoor dining. Construction begins mid-February.

Haidilao Hot Pot Austin

World-famous Chinese hot pot chain opening in the Domain area (Rock Rose). Known for incredible customer service including manicures and noodle dances. Construction expected to be completed by November 2026.

Augustine’s

Progressive Creole restaurant opening at the Hotel King David in Third Ward. Chef Dominick Lee is a New Orleans native with experience at Kiran’s and Poitín Bar & Kitchen. Restaurant has been two years in development.
