Tanhuo Yanji BBQ

Tanhuo Yanji BBQ is planned for 524 6th Ave S in Seattle, the former Shanghai Garden space. The restaurant is expected to focus on charcoal-grilled barbecue with Chinese and Yanji-style (northeastern China/Korean-influenced) grilling traditions. No opening timeline has been announced. Liquor license application filed with Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.

New coffee and cocktails lounge (~1,800 sq ft) opening as street-level tenant in the Tanager Apartments development on Capitol Hill. Founded by Zach Bucklin, a former Starbucks supply chain finance professional and Google veteran. Design by Seattle firm Board and Vellum. Expected to be Capitol Hill’s first and possibly only new food/drink opening of 2026.

Dick’s Drive-In

Dick’s Drive-In announced its 11th Washington location on the Tulalip Reservation, situated across from Quil Ceda Creek Casino west of I-5 at exit 199. The new location will serve classic menu items including fresh-never-frozen beef burgers, hand-cut fries, and hand-dipped milkshakes. Construction timelines and official opening date have not yet been announced.
