Raising Cane’s
Raising Cane’s received final zoning approval to build a new 3,500-square-foot restaurant with dual drive-thru lanes at a former Red Lobster site. The location will have 45 parking spots and seating for 61 guests (45 indoor, 16 outdoor patio).
Culver’s
Midwest restaurant chain planning first Metro Richmond location. Existing building will be demolished and new one built to company standards. Known for ButterBurger and frozen custard.
Kura Sushi
Kura Sushi is opening a second location in San Diego at Mission Valley Mall. This will be the chain’s second location in the city, with the first having opened in 2015 in the Convoy District. The restaurant features conveyor belt sushi with interactive dining and a prize system called ‘Bikkura Pon’.
Tanner’s Bar & Grill
Tanner’s Bar & Grill is relocating from their 119th Street location to a new location at 125th and Quivira Road, at the site of a previously closed Lamar’s Donuts. The restaurant is working toward opening mid-year.

Chick-fil-A restaurant proposed as part of Bridger Point Master Site Plan development at former rest stop location. City has approved master site plan. Restaurant would include drive-thru and indoor/outdoor seating.
Xencia Bites and Bar
Mexican restaurant and sports bar offering regional Mexican dishes including mole poblano, homemade tortillas, and vegetarian quesadillas. Will feature live Spanish music on weekends. Hours will be 11am-9pm Wednesday-Monday, closed Tuesdays.
Bobby’s Cafe
Bobby’s Cafe is a breakfast and lunch restaurant opening in a renovated 6,200-square-foot space that previously housed several restaurants. The building underwent a major overhaul including new electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment. Named after the owners’ new daughter.
Japanese Sushi Bar
Japanese Sushi Bar opening on the second floor of Thai Martinsburg. All paperwork and renovation work completed, menu finalized with fish imported from Japan. New chef hired with Japanese cooking experience.
