Homewood Suites by Hilton Sugar Mountain

116-key Homewood Suites by Hilton extended-stay property at the base of Sugar Mountain. Development secured $28m construction loan through EB-5 investment platform. Located near ski resorts, colleges, and state parks to serve leisure and business travelers.

Omni Hotel

550-room Omni Hotel under construction adjacent to the Raleigh Convention Center. The hotel will house 55,000 square feet of meeting space and several food-and-beverage options. Part of the $387-million RCC expansion project.

RGC Mountain View Hotel

Five-story hotel development on municipal parking lot, part of hotel and office complex. Project cost estimated at $141.8 million. Will use valet parking system with shared parking agreements instead of underground garage.

62-room hotel component of mixed-use development with residential units. Part of 8-story podium-style building, operating independently from residential area. Located near Neptune Way, walking distance to beaches.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Savannah, Downtown

168-key luxury Ritz-Carlton hotel in historic Savannah Skyscraper building. Features signature restaurant, lobby lounge, rooftop bar and pool, 5,000-square-foot spa and wellness center, and over 5,000 square feet of meeting space. First Ritz-Carlton property in Savannah.

Mug and Maple

Health-centric coffee shop featuring natural ingredients, maple lattes with New Hampshire maple syrup, and food menu with breakfast sandwiches and pasta. Design inspired by upscale ski lodge with 35-foot granite bar. Has been hosting pop-ups in anticipation of opening.

Smooth Monkey

Local smoothie and acai shop planning to expand to Uptown Charlotte location. Currently has locations in Plaza Midwood and Strawberry Hill. Serves acai bowls and smoothies with fresh, natural ingredients.

MirĂ³ Spanish Grille

Second location of MirĂ³ Spanish Grille expanding to SouthPark in a 4,000-square-foot space, formerly home to Fontana di Vino. Will offer 80% of the same menu as existing Ballantyne location including empanadas, paellas, and Spanish seafood dishes.

Conrad’s Casual Dining

Conrad’s Casual Dining is opening its fifth location at The Village Shoppes in Canton in a 5,636-square-foot space. The family-owned chain serves American and Italian comfort classics with full bar and private function room.
