Whataburger received site plan approval from Edmond Planning Commission for location at Covell Road and I-35 interchange. Still needs building permits and construction before opening.

John Brown General and Butchery

Cockeysville favorite expanding to Bel Air, taking over 3,000-square-foot former Boyd & Fulford Drugs location. Will offer whole-animal butchery of grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, lamb, and poultry, plus coffees, pastries, sandwiches, and cheeseburgers.

Teriyaki Madness

Denver-based chain offering teriyaki bowls with chicken, steak, salmon and tofu. Will be DeSoto County’s first location, with another location already in Cordova.

Bain Barbecue

Memphis barbecue spot opening second location in Germantown. Owners need to renovate former Arby’s location.

MT Supermarket

Asian supermarket expanding from Austin to San Antonio. Construction was reportedly underway from January 2025 to July 2025 with $3 million investment. Also planning wholesale store in same retail center.

Tikka Shack

Fast casual Indian restaurant with dine-in and to-go options. Menu will include curry bowls, tikka pizzas, naan wraps, and traditional kabobs. Replacing the old Cycle Bar location.

Taquería De Diez

Popular Austin street taco joint moving to new location on East Sixth Street as part of Old 6th revitalization project. Will close existing downtown location. Brothers Raul and Luis Esquer with co-founder Roy Servan bring Northwestern Mexico and Baja California style tacos.

Trapeze

French bohemian bar and restaurant from Deep Ellum operators Peter Novotny and Dan Murry, featuring regional French cuisine and colonial-inspired flavors. Located in renovated Bishop Arts District bungalow with Jeremy Spector as culinary director.

Great Greek Mediterranean Grill

Greek restaurant chain opening new location in The Walk on University Drive. Work has begun on getting the location ready. Lease signed in June, renovations underway, but no specific opening date announced yet.
