Will offer Western and Eastern Mediterranean flavors including mezze, lamb patty melt, grilled whitefish skewers, and lamb chops. Seeking wine, beer, and cider license. Plans to transform former boba tea shop into neighborhood restaurant.
Retrography
Existing photobooth location expanding to become an intimate 14-seat café and bar. Menu will include ciabatta sandwiches, morning rolls, seasonal dishes, espresso drinks, wines and wine-based cocktails. Daily hours planned from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Hot chicken chain opening first Rocklin location across from Costco. Founded by David Mkhitaryan, the brand has 37 locations across CA, AZ, NV, and TX. Menu features sliders, tenders, and bowls with varying heat levels.

Third location for Buddha Bowls & Rolls, their first standalone space located outside of downtown Sacramento with more parking. Specializes in customizable Asian-American fare including build-your-own spring rolls, noodle bowls, rice bowls, and sandwiches.

Southern California seafood chain opening at The Trails at Roseville redevelopment project at Westfield Galleria. Known for daily-printed menus, wild-caught fish, premium shellfish, and raw bar. Part of King’s Seafood Company restaurant group.

New Zealand-style ice cream stand opening at Columbia Farms U-Pick on Sauvie Island, featuring real fruit ice cream made with farm-grown berries and Tillamook vanilla base

Wine bar comeback with liquor licensing paperwork submitted. Restaurant seating for 50 plus 16 outdoor seats. Projected hours 2-10pm Mon-Thurs, 12pm-12am Fri-Sat.

New steakhouse replacing Michael Jordan’s Steak House at Ilani Casino. Will feature contemporary casual atmosphere with USDA Choice and Prime cuts and regional Wagyu offerings.
Tamale Boy HQ
Tamale Boy is relocating its Russell location to a new North Williams Avenue location called Tamale Boy HQ. The restaurant offers brunch and seasonal Mexican cuisine. Menu will replicate some items from sister restaurant Colibri, with rotating specials, fish tacos, Burrito del Mar, and a cocktail program inspired by Mexican mercados.
