Phil’s BBQ is planning its first Arizona location at a former Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant space. Full renovation planned for the 10,107-square-foot building including interior overhaul and exterior updates. No opening timeline confirmed yet. Brand is expanding outside California; currently operates five Southern California locations. Founded in 1998 in San Diego by Phil Pace.

New Chick-fil-A location opening May 14, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. in Peoria, AZ. Owner-Operator is Jannette Bressler, a former 27-year public education professional. Restaurant features redesigned playground, dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, and Mobile Thru. Creating approximately 95 jobs. Opening day celebration includes Moove-In Party with free entree for guests in cow attire.
