PRESS Coffee

PRESS Coffee is planning its first West Valley location inside the Sprouts Farmers Market at Four Corners in Lake Pleasant Towne Center. No official opening timeline has been announced. The Arizona-based specialty coffee chain currently operates 19 Valley locations. Founded by Steve Kraus and Tram Mai in 2008.

Tortillas Chiwas

New concept from Tacos Chiwas owners Nadia Holguin and Armando Hernandez. Taking over a historic former tortilla factory building in Tucson’s Barrio Hollywood neighborhood. Will feature on-site tortilla and masa production, a ~30-seat restaurant with fast-casual daytime offerings (gorditas, quesadillas, burritos) and a seasonal dinner menu. No opening timeline confirmed yet.

Mendocino Farms

California-based fast-casual chain Mendocino Farms is planning to open a new location in Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood near 44th Street and Indian School Road. Family-owned Chicago-style Italian restaurant expanding to a second Arizona location in Mesa. Menu features Italian beef sandwiches, pizzas, pasta, and comfort food staples. Owner Rick Slayton is son-in-law of founder Bob Paladino. Targeting a June 2026 opening; official date not yet confirmed. Liquor license application filed.

Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food

Mo’ Bettahs is opening its second Arizona location in downtown Phoenix at CityScape. The Hawaiian plate lunch concept was founded in 2008 by Kimo and Kalani Mack. New Chick-fil-A location opening May 14, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. in Peoria, AZ. Owner-Operator is Jannette Bressler, a former 27-year public education professional.
