Texas-based Italian restaurant group Western Addition expanding to Arizona with their first location outside of Texas. Upscale neighborhood Italian restaurant featuring house-made pasta, crispy artichokes, steaks, and frozen cocktails. Located at Scottsdale Road and Rose Lane.

Medium-sized hotel with street level marketplace planned for downtown Tucson. Developed by The Obie Companies of Eugene, Oregon. Part of Rio Nuevo’s mission to stimulate convention business and increase hotel density around Tucson Convention Center.
Arizona Hotel HSL Hyatt
296-room full-service convention hotel reopening after being dormant since 2012. Located adjacent to Tucson Convention Center. Interior renovations and demolition work already begun, exterior work expected to begin next month. $7 million in work already completed including asbestos abatement.

Luxurious and theatrical high energy Mexican restaurant by 151 Hospitality, featuring elevated Mexican cuisine by Executive Chef Julio Mata. 6,000 square feet accommodating 150 guests with colorful design inspired by Luis Barragán and Studio 54. Opens for dinner Feb 2, lunch and dinner Feb 9.

Chicago-born toasted sandwich shop opening 1,430 sq ft location with 12 indoor seats and 10-12 outdoor patio seats. Part of multi-unit franchise deal. Construction planned to start early to mid-March 2026.
Nautical Bowls
Nautical Bowls planning two Arizona locations – one at Goodyear’s Ballpark Village North opening Q4 2026 with 15 seats, and another in Glendale at 91st Avenue and Cardinals Way opening July 2026. Franchise owner David Patalsky chose the Goodyear location for its proximity to spring training facilities.
