A bourbon bar opening next door to Phoenix City Grille in uptown Phoenix. The spirit-forward lounge will offer rare bottles, craft cocktails, American/Irish/Japanese whiskeys, Scotch and agave spirits. Features plush leather seating around a veined stone bar and four tables in an industrial, intimate space.
Downtown Tucson Hotel
Medium-sized hotel with street level marketplace planned for downtown Tucson. Developed by The Obie Companies of Eugene, Oregon. Part of Rio Nuevo’s effort to increase hotel density around the convention center.
Mesa LivAway Suites
Extended-stay hotel being built from the ground up in East Mesa, located just west of Banner Gateway Medical Center. Will be the fifth planned LivAway Suites location in Arizona.
Arizona Hotel HSL Hyatt
296-room full-service convention hotel reopening after being dormant since 2012. Located adjacent to Tucson Convention Center. Interior renovations and demolition work already begun with $7 million invested. Exterior work expected to begin next month.
Atari Hotel
Gaming-themed hotel with 72 rooms and 19 suites, featuring 90,000 square feet of experience-driven spaces including a 20,000-square-foot concert venue, esports venue, restaurants, retail spaces, and oversized pool. Designed by Räkkhaus with pixel grid patterning facade and arcade circuitry interior designs inspired by Tron and Blade Runner.
Mesquite Fresh Street Mex
Phoenix-based fast casual restaurant opening at Goodyear’s Ballpark Village North. Known for proteins grilled over authentic mesquite wood, serving tacos, bowls, burritos, and salads. Locally-owned chain with 10 current locations.
Hudson House
Upscale restaurant known for world’s coldest martinis opening at Heritage Park mixed-use development. Will be first Arizona location for the Texas-based chain by Vandelay Hospitality Group.
