Palo District Hotel (400-room)

400-room hotel at former Fiesta Mall site, would be largest hotel in Mesa and East Valley. Located next to planned stadium with large conference area for teams, coaches, officials and fans. Part of 80-acre Palo District development. Hotel operator not yet selected.

Palo District Hotel

Two hotels planned at former Fiesta Mall site: 400-room modern lifestyle property next to soccer stadium with restaurants and meeting spaces, and 200-room extended-stay hotel. Part of 80-acre Palo District redevelopment. Brands still being selected.

Atari Hotel

91-room hotel tower (19 suites, 72 standard rooms) with 3,500 sq ft penthouse suite. Part of $124 million project including 2,200-person multipurpose venue for esports, sports-viewing hub with 200+ screens, immersive digital tunnels, and multiple levels of food/beverage/retail. Located on 46,000 sq ft parcel in downtown Phoenix.

Atari Hotel

Gaming-themed Atari Hotel to be developed along Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix. Construction scheduled to begin in late 2026 with late 2028 opening.

CityNorth Hotel Tower

240-room hotel tower at CityNorth development along Loop 101 corridor. Project by LaPour Partners and Holualoa Cos., construction began last summer.

Dove Valley Towne Center Hotel

544-room hotel as part of mixed-use Dove Valley Towne Center project by Vestar, includes fitness center and retail space, located near TSMC Arizona campus

Flower Child

Flower Child healthy restaurant planning to open at the yet-to-open Prasada East development at Waddell Road and Sarival Avenue. The restaurant offers good-for-you bowls, salads, wraps with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Opening date has not been announced.

Barracks Bar

Legendary Palm Springs LGBTQ+ bar relocating to Phoenix. Applied for liquor permit with Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control. Will feature a full bar, previously known for themed parties and community events.

Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream

Iowa-based pizza and ice cream restaurant opening two Arizona locations – first in Oro Valley with dine-in, carryout and delivery, second planned for Surprise at Greer Ranch Plaza. Known for claiming to be first to create taco pizza.

Angry Chickz

Nashville hot chicken concept opening its first Mesa location and third Arizona restaurant. Features customizable heat levels from ‘Country’ to ‘Angry’ level requiring waiver. Menu includes tenders, sliders, bowls and signature Angry Mac dish.
