Morucci’s Deli, a Bay Area sandwich shop founded over 30 years ago and currently located in Walnut Creek, is preparing to expand with a new location at 236 Golf Club Road in Pleasant Hill, CA. Known for Italian subs, roasted turkey, hot pastrami, tri-tip, and house-made dressings. No opening date announced yet.
Olive Garden
Olive Garden is opening a new location at the Crossroads West development, a 365,000-square-foot mixed-use retail center in Sacramento, CA. The center will also include Costco, Trader Joe’s, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, and Raising Cane’s. Part of Darden Restaurants’ plan to open up to 70 locations this year.

Out There Coffee Roasters, a woman-founded specialty coffee company, is actively searching for a second San Francisco location. Founder Erica Ash confirmed the search but noted negotiations have not been finalized and there is no projected opening timeline.
