Benihana plans to open 10 new restaurant locations across the San Francisco Bay Area including 3 franchised restaurants, 2 joint-venture locations, and 5 Benihana Express outlets. Two joint-venture locations expected to open next year, remaining locations over next seven years.
Goop Kitchen
Plant-forward fast-casual restaurant from Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand goop opening first San Diego location at One Paseo Shopping Center. Focuses on clean, nutrient-forward meals with items that exclude refined sugars, processed foods, gluten, dairy, and preservatives.
Breakfast Republic
Southern California breakfast and brunch restaurant expanding to Highland Park location with 2,503 sq ft indoor dining (76 seats), 1,245 sq ft rear patio (60 seats), and 165 sq ft front sidewalk area (18 seats). Will serve breakfast classics with unique twists and full alcohol menu.
Sogno Toscano Cafe
Tuscan-inspired lifestyle cafe opening third Los Angeles location in Metlox Shopping Center. Will feature espresso bar, wine selections, and Italian market items. Led by co-founders Pietro Brembilla and Brian Persico.
Everywhere Beer
Orange County-based craft brewery opening third taproom location at Union Station’s former Fred Harvey restaurant space. Plans include main brewery room, 96-seat outdoor patio, cocktail lounge, and upstairs game room. Will be brand’s first LA location and largest to date.
Malibu Brewing Company
Family-owned craft brewery opening third location at Universal Studios Hollywood CityWalk. Will offer craft beer and wine terrace with house beers, food, and welcoming setting.
Placerville Gyro & Shawarma
Mediterranean restaurant from experienced restaurateur who operates two other locations. Will occupy 1,500 square feet in Apple Farm Place Retail Center next to Grocery Outlet. Expected to serve gyro and shawarma wraps, kabobs, falafel, hummus, and seasoned fries.

The Nice Guy
The Nice Guy, an iconic Italian-inspired restaurant and lounge from West Hollywood, is expanding to Newport Beach. The location is under permitting review with no specific timeline announced.
