Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters

Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters is opening its fourth Colorado location this fall at Clayworks, a new mixed-use district in Downtown Golden. The 2,367-square-foot café with a 550-square-foot patio will be on the ground floor of The Pottery building. Founded in 2013 by Andy Sprenger, the company is owned by Eric Yochim.

Nonna’s Italiano

Classic Italian restaurant opening inside Johnny Nolon’s Casino. Menu features customizable pasta dishes and classic Italian entrees. Official grand opening with ribbon cutting on May 22nd at 11am. Cripple Creek officials will be on-site. Owned/operated by Rocky Mountain Gaming CC, LLC.

Birrieria Doña María

Family-owned Mexican restaurant specializing in Jalisco-style birria, founded by Jorge Fregoso and named after his wife Maria Vera. Opening a third location (existing locations in Greeley and Lakewood) in the former San Rose Mexican Restaurant space. Menu includes birria ramen, quesabirria tacos, sopes, seafood molcajete, and traditional soups. Currently pursuing a liquor license before opening.

Franchisee Andrew Schuman has signed a seven-unit deal for Smalls Sliders in South Denver. The locations, called ‘Cans,’ feature a bright orange shipping container design. Drive-thru focused Chick-fil-A location, second of its kind in Colorado. Owner-Operator Shane Weeks will run this alongside his existing Chick-fil-A Southlands location. Opening day features a Moove-In Party with free entree for guests in cow attire. Hours Monday-Saturday 6am-10pm. Creating approximately 50 jobs.
