Family-run restaurant specializing in Puerto-Rican-style rotisserie chicken opening new location. Applied for permit with Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Will offer indoor dining for 207 people with dedicated takeout area.
Koffee Sutra
Coffee shop and learning center opening in Thornton Park’s Veranda Building. Will offer coffee by day, curated cocktails in evening, and educational events about coffee preparation, origins, and culture. Co-owned by Ravi Gandi and Alexan Lima with Elina Broniszewski as general manager.
Handel’s Ice Cream
Handel’s Ice Cream’s first Florida location opening in Stonewood Plaza. 2,000-square-foot walk-up shop with covered patio, offering 48 rotating flavors made fresh daily. Grand opening with first 100 guests receiving free ice cream for a year.
Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay
Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay will open at Orlando International Airport (MCO), bringing premium handcrafted burgers and fast-casual dining to the busy travel hub. The restaurant will be developed in partnership with OTG Concessions.
Habit Burger & Grill
Third Habit Burger & Grill location planned for Jacksonville’s Northside at Parkway Shops. Construction set to begin on roughly 2,059-square-foot restaurant with mobile pick-up lane and patio, costing about $1.4 million.
Salt & Tide
Seafood restaurant with 15-year lease proposed for Jacksonville International Airport Concourse B. Will occupy 3,237 square feet and be managed by Paradies Lagardère. Concourse B scheduled to open December 2026.
Courtyard by Marriott Melbourne
Conversion and remodel of existing Holiday Inn to Courtyard by Marriott. $6.2 million construction project with construction commenced January 2026. Second project for Marriott Hotels by JFB Construction.
Old Shores
New golf resort in Florida Panhandle featuring multiple courses, estate homes, hotel, restaurants, and shops. First course designed by Tom Doak and Angela Moser. Preview play on 12 holes possible October 2026, full opening fall 2027. Founding memberships available for $115,000.
