Michigan-based ice cream chain opening eighth Chicago location in The Loop area. Franchisee Jackie Jackson is aiming to debut the shop sometime this summer. Signage is up and storefront shows coming soon signs.

7 Brew franchise Who Brew is planning a new drive-thru coffee location in St. Charles. The project requires city approval and permitting before construction can commence. Menu includes hot and cold brew coffees, energy drinks, fizz drinks, teas, lemonades and shakes.

California-based coffee company expanding to Chicago’s South Loop. First location in the region with four more cafes planned. Modern look with different menu while keeping California themes. Located in Printer’s Row area.

A Thousand Tales

Mediterranean bakery and cafe expanding from Mount Prospect location. Will focus on drinks, pastries, specialty cakes, small plates like protein salads and soups. Different concept from full-service restaurant – bakery/cafe only.
