Nonno’s Cajun Cuisine & Pastries

Cajun restaurant relocating from New Orleans 7th Ward to new food pavilion called ‘the Pointe’ in Lafraniere Park, Metairie. Will be only breakfast vendor in the park, also serving lunch and dinner with jambalaya, fried chicken, catfish. Plans to add beignets to menu.

Charles & Julia Cocktail Bar

New cocktail bar and rooftop terrace opening at Hotel Perle in the Warehouse District. Features two spaces: downstairs wine and cocktail lounge with small plates, and upstairs open-air rooftop terrace with Sicily-inspired design. Operated by Latter Hospitality.

Bayou Phoenix Hotel

Hotel planned as part of entertainment district at former Six Flags site in New Orleans East, includes indoor-outdoor waterpark. Development partners to be announced March 6, 2026. Project transitioning from planning to active construction preparation.

Food truck transitioning to brick-and-mortar restaurant serving comfort food including burgers and quesadillas. Family business with owner’s husband working the grill and daughter handling customers.

762 Coffee + Cocktails

All-day cafe and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with sandwiches, bowls, and specialty drinks. Owner Rami Bader also owns Oceana Grill. Opening pending city inspections.

BLDG 5

Second location of BLDG 5 marketplace and restaurant moving into former Burger King space in Mid City South. Serves New American food including Cajun pork stew and shrimp Panang, known for shareable boards. Building permit filed and plans moving forward.

Drive-thru Creole fried chicken restaurant from Chef Dook Chase IV opening in old Burger King location across from Charmant restaurant

Omni New Orleans

1,000-key headquarters hotel across from New Orleans Convention Center with 100,000 square feet of meeting space, restaurants and bars, rooftop pool deck, spa, and parking garage. $600 million development by Omni Hotels & Resorts.
